If you have secured a Singapore job visa (IPA – In Principle Approval), you must complete the BMET immigration clearance before traveling from Bangladesh. This clearance is mandatory for all workers and professionals to ensure safe migration.

Checklist

1. IPA (In Principle Approval) Copy

   • Make sure you have received your IPA copy from your employer.

2. Pre-Departure Orientation (PDO) Training

   • Attend a 3-day PDO training at your District Technical Training Center (TTC).

   • Exemption: Candidates who have already lived in Singapore (or that country) before are not required to attend this training.

3. Fingerprint / Biometric Enrollment

   • Complete your fingerprint/biometric enrollment at the district BMET office.

4. Submission for BMET Clearance

   • Submit your original passport to our office so we can process your BMET Immigration Clearance Card.

Processing Time

• Standard processing time: 3–5 working days after we receive your passport.

Cost

• BDT 8,500/- → For first-time applicants going to Singapore.

• BDT 7,500/- → For applicants who have previously worked in Singapore.
